Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms govern your use of R2Cloud (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

1. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. Your email address is your sign-in name; we do not send email, so keep your password safe.

2. Plans, payment and changes

The Free plan is provided at no cost with the limits shown on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through our payment processor (Stripe). Fees are shown in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise at checkout. You can change or cancel a plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; the new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period.

3. Storage limits and downgrades

Each plan includes a storage quota. Files in the trash count toward it until permanently deleted. If your usage exceeds your quota (for example after a downgrade or cancellation), existing files remain available for download but new uploads are blocked until usage is below the quota. We do not delete your files because of a downgrade.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the files you upload. You grant us only the permission needed to store, process, display and transmit them so the Service can work, including generating previews and serving downloads you or your authorised recipients request. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to store or share content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights, contains malware, or is used for harassment, fraud or spam. You may not attempt to bypass storage limits, access other users’ data, or disrupt the Service. We may suspend accounts or disable share links that violate these rules, and we will tell you why where the law allows.

6. Sharing and workspaces

You are responsible for the links you create and for who you share them with. Workspace owners are responsible for their members and billing. Files uploaded to a workspace belong to that workspace and remain there when a member leaves.

7. Availability and backups

We work to keep the Service available and your data intact, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copies of files that are critical to you.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Account settings; this permanently removes your personal files and share links. We may terminate or suspend accounts that breach these terms or that remain unpaid after reasonable notice. Where feasible, we will give you an opportunity to export your files first.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
